Papers will be divided into two broad programs. Approximately 2/3 of the papers will focus on innovative new research in Information Assurance. The remaining 1/3 of the papers will address recent experience, lessons learned, and best practices from information assurance practitioners. This year the IAW has added (as part of the innovative research program) a new track on Honeynet technologies. The Honeynet Alliance (www.honeynet.org) will sponsor this track that focuses on implementation of Honeynet systems and analysis of data derived from Honey net systems. Also added this year (as part of the experience program) is a track to incorporate the technical best practices being implemented in the area of Information Assurance. This track will focus on best practices being implemented by network security practitioners. Also added is a track devoted to papers sponsored by the Colloquium for Information Systems Security Education (www.ncisse.org).
