Workshop Facilities
| Thayer Hall |
The workshop sessions will be held in Thayer Hall (building 601)
which is about 3/4 of a mile North on Thayer Road from the Hotel
Thayer. The Hotel Thayer and Thayer Hall are both on Thayer Road.
Please note the Hotel Thayer and Thayer Hall are NOT the
same building.

The Hotel Thayer
(building 674) is across Thayer Gate, at the South end of West Point,
across from Buffalo Soldiers Field, adjacent to the Village
of Highland Falls.

Directions
| From JFK Airport: VanWyck Parkway to Bronx-Whitestone Bridge.
After crossing the bridge, look for the Cross Bronx Expressway.
Follow the Cross Bronx Expressway to the Bronx River Parkway north.
Take the Bronx River Parkway to left fork for the Sprain Brook
Parkway. Follow Sprain Brook Parkway to Route 287, left exit to
Tappan Zee Bridge and Interstate 87 (New York State Thruway).
Over bridge, take exit 13N onto the Palisades Interstate Parkway
heading north. Take the PIP north to its end (Bear Mountain traffic
circle). Follow signs for Route 9W north (3d exit off traffic circle).
Exit 9W via West Point exit, Stony Lonesome exit, or Route 293 exit.

| From LaGuardia Airport: Take the Whitestone Parkway
to Bronx-Whitestone Bridge. After crossing the bridge, look for the
Cross Bronx Expressway. Follow the Cross Bronx Expressway to the
Bronx River Parkway north. Take the Bronx River Parkway to left
fork for the Sprain Brook Parkway. Follow Sprain Brook Parkway to

| From Newark Airport: Take Interstate 78 West to
the Garden State Parkway. Take the GSP north to the end and follow
signs for the New York State Thruway (I-87) east. Exit Thruway at
exit 13N onto the Palisades Interstate Parkway heading north. Take
the PIP north to its end (Bear Mountain traffic circle). Follow
signs for Route 9W north (3d exit off traffic circle). Exit 9W via
West Point exit, Stony Lonesome exit, or Route 293 exit.

| From Stewart Airport: Exit airport, make left
turn onto New York State Route 207 to the New York State Route
300 interchange. Make left turn onto Route 300, cross New York
State Route 17K to the Interstate 84 interchange. Take I-84 east
to exit 10 (Route 9W). Make right turn onto 9W south. Exit 9W via
Route 293 exit, Stony Lonesome exit, or West Point exit.

Transportation and Parking
| Parking |
All participants are strongly encouraged to park in the Hotel
Thayer parking lot and use the workshop shuttle service. Parking
is very limited on post, and parking regulations are strictly
enforced.

| Post Shuttle |
The post shuttle runs continuously during business hours,
arriving at each bus stop every half hour. The shuttle bus is free.
The post shuttle schedule for the bus stops of interest to
conference attendees:
- Thayer Hall Southbound to the Hotel Thayer: 13 and 43 minutes
after the hour (e.g. 9:13 or 9:43). Last bus is at 5:13 PM.
- Hotel Thayer Northbound to Thayer hall: 21 and 51 minutes
after the hour (e.g. 7:51).

| Special Workshop Shuttle |
Tentatively there will be a special workshop shuttle
which will take conference participants from the Hotel Thayer to
Thayer Hall each morning and bring them back in the afternoon.
Participants are encouraged to use this shuttle in the morning
and afternoon and use the post shuttle to go back and forth to
the hotel at other times.
The proposed special workshop shuttle schedule is:
- Depart the Hotel Thayer on 5 and 6 June to Thayer Hall at
7:00 AM, 7:15 AM, 7:45 AM.
- Depart the Thayer Hall and return to the Hotel Thayer on
5 June at 5:30 PM and 5:45 PM.
- Depart the Thayer Hall and return to the Hotel Thayer on
6 June at 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM.
