Panel Session: Impacting the Future of Information Assurance
In recent years, educators, information systems practitioners, managers, and end users in commercial, governmental, and academic settings have gained a more complete appreciation for the many vulnerabilities that exist in most currently fielded information systems. As a result of this growing awareness, there has been increasing demand for the development of effective IA curriculums. Fortunately, a great deal of effort has been expended, and progress made, by educators to develop such a curriculum. The invited panelists have all made noteworthy contributions to the body of knowledge in this area. They will each describe innovative techniques that they have developed to educate their respective target audiences in the area of Information Assurance. These panelists will also describe future initiatives to improve the educational value of their existing curriculum.
