Officer in Charge: MAJ TJ OConnor

MAJ OConnor was commissioned a Signal Officer at West Point in May 1999. Military assignments include platoon leader, 3D Signal Brigade; battalion signal officer, 1/2 Attack Aviation Battalion; and battalion signal officer, 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne). MAJ OConnor deployed with the 7th Special Forces Group in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and the Global War on Terrorism. Academic interests include mobile and wireless network security, information assurance and information technology education

Advising Officer: LTC Greg Conti

LTC Conti is a Military Intelligence Officer and an Academy Professor. His previous assignments include Platoon Leader, 124th Military Intelligence Battalion; Company Commander, 713th Military Intelligence Group; and S-3, 743rd Military Intelligence Battalion. He was deployed during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. LTC Conti is a graduate of INSCOM’s National Systems Development Program and the Army’s Command and General Staff College, as well as a professionalized NSA Signals Collection Officer. His research interests include information visualization for security, secure and usable interface design and web-based information disclosure.

Cadet in Charge: CDT Mike Weigand

CDT Weigand is a senior at the United States Military Academy. He has been a SIGSAC member for four years now and been a huge part of the club's success. He will return this year to lead the club through an exciting year. He has spoken at both the ShmooCon and DEFCON hacker conferences about building autonomous UAVs that can collect signals intelligence for under $500.
