Informations Assurance Workshop
Conference Announcement The US Military Academy Information Technology and
Operations Center (ITOC), the University of Virginia Systems and Information Engineering
Department, and the IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics (SMC) Society are pleased to
announce the Second Annual Information Assurance Workshop 5-6 June 2001 at West
Point, New York.
In addition to the main program on 5-6 June, there will be a tutorial
sessions and a no-host social on 4 June. See the schedule for details.
The workshop will be of interest to academics, senior technologists in government
laboratories and senior managers of government programs with an interest in information
operations (IO). Managers and researchers of information assurance/information
operations-related technologies at academic institutions should also benefit from
attending this workshop.
We expect to have at least 175 individuals attend the workshop. The cost of the
workshop and other details can be found on the Workshop
Registration Page. The registration fee will include a continental breakfast, lunch
and dinner. Guidelines for submitting papers may be found on the Call
for Papers page. Also, some of the papers may be published in a Special Issue on
Information Assurance of the Journal of the IEEE SMC, Part C. Workshop proceedings
will be made available on CD at the workshop and at a Web site prior to the workshop.
